1. Roger’s Wish is accepting donations of blankets and sleeping bags at the Bladen County Library, Bladen Journal and Elizabethtown ABC store through the end of October. Items will be distributed to the homeless and needy on Nov. 6. (READ MORE)
2. The White Lake Fire Department is selling tickets for its annual Thanksgiving meal fundraiser.
Purchase a fried turkey, baked turkey or Boston butt for $30 and pick up the food the day before Thanksgiving at the fire department. Tickets may be purchased from any White Lake firefighter.
3. Fruit Sale fundraiser: Bladen County Firefighters Association. Fruit will be shipped directly to you. Order at by clicking here. If your church, business or organization would like to purchase fruit, then contact your local fire department.
