Debra J. Justice with the Bladenboro Visual Arts Council announced the upcoming “Oh, You Beautiful Doll”, exhibit. A collection of about 50 dolls will be on display and for sale at the Bladenboro Historical Society Building. 

    According to Ms. Justice, the late Jo Anne Guyton Pait, the wife of Sam Pait, founder of the Bladenboro Visual Arts Council Gallery, collected the dolls. The exhibit and sale will be held on the second floor of the historical building, starting this Saturday, December 5, 2020.

   The collection contains porcelain, ceramic, cloth, straw, and other dolls and some doll furniture. All proceeds will go to the art gallery and the Bladenboro Historical Society. 

   The exhibit will be held Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m., and other times and days are available by appointment. The historical building is located at 818 South Main Street in Bladenboro. Call 910-633-7982 for more information. Organizers ask attendees to please remember to wear a mask. Ms. Justice noted, “They will definitely be required for the safety of our volunteers and guests.
