Lowest recorded Sunday morning was 26 degrees, as of 5:25 a.m., lowest wind chill was 20 degrees at 5:25 a.m. About an inch (.98) of rainfall over past 24 hours … Highest wind gusts, that I saw, was 35 mph Saturday at 10:35 a.m., a couple of 30 mph gusts in that same time frame … Was an interesting time, weatherwise … Hopefully all over for a while…

I spent much time Saturday, in the same room where neighborhood youngsters once played pool, now used as a place to fold newly washed clothes. Watched the rain and wind and just dreamed about days gone by … I was safe, only a few feet from the cold wind and rain … in a comfortable, warm room … wondering where wildlife, especially birds go during such weather…
Did take a break to get a fish plate from supporters of fundraiser for Dublin Peanut Festival … from Lu Mil Vineyard … busy place … delicious food…
For those interested, looked up time difference from Bladen County to London, England … at 8 a.m. here, it’s 1 p.m. there. Heck no, not going, just wasting time, watching rain and listening to the wind whistle as it passed thru … headed north. Later watched the golf match in Florida … about as many balls in the water as on the greens…
