The Bladen County Law Enforcement Officers Association has scheduled a conceal carry class for Saturday, Sept. 17.
The class will be held from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. behind the old prison that is now Bladen County Emergency Services Training Center at 5853 U.S. 701 North, Elizabethtown. Cost is $75.
Contact Sarah Murphy by texting or calling 910-876-2690 (leave a message if calling) to get your name on the class list. The class is limited to 15 participants due to COVID-19 restrictions.
A deposit of $25.00 is due by Friday, June 3 with balance due the day of class. The deposit can be dropped off (exact amount) at Bladen County Sheriff’s Office or by paying on Cash App $sakam67. Cash or check made out to the Association (BCLEOA) also will be accepted. Your name must be on the class list prior to paying your deposit.
The day of class, you will need to bring the weapon you wish to qualify with and 30 rounds of ammunition is required.
Also bring a billed hat to wear while qualifying. If you have your own eye and ear protection you are welcome to use it, if not protection will be on hand.
