Each year, The Dublin Peanut Festival selects a graduating senior from West Bladen High School to receive its $2,000.00 Scholarship Award. This scholarship is awarded to a graduating senior to continue their education at Bladen Community College.
There are different levels of criteria for the award but the most important is the student’s grades. This year’s winner is Zackary Bridgers. Zackary is the son of Russ and Devonda Bridgers.
He is beginning his studies at Bladen Community College in Criminal Justice. His long term plans are to pursue a career with the NC State Highway Patrol. Congratulations Zackary!
