Elizabethtown, NC—Bladen We Care has made a significant grant to Dream Works in support of its vital mental health mission. This contribution aims to bolster Dream Works’ efforts in providing essential mental health services to the community.

Mac Campbell, President of Bladen We Care, expressed his enthusiasm for the grant, stating, “Katie Evans is an intern with Dream Works this summer and is pursuing a career in the mental health field, and Pastor Jason does a great job at helping people with mental, physical, and spiritual health needs. They are a great asset to our community, and we are glad to be able to assist them with their mission.”

Dream Works, dedicated to offering comprehensive counseling services, focuses on various aspects of mental health. Their services include mental health counseling, grief counseling, substance abuse counseling, and DWI services. This mental health project aligns perfectly with Dream Works’ overarching mission to support and improve the well-being of individuals in the community.

Pastor Jason Williams with Dream Works stated in an email, “Currently, we offer a mental health counseling program providing licensed mental health and addiction counseling services. With our part-time licensed counselor, we support court-ordered DWI cases, supervise interns from Pembroke to help them accrue clinical hours, and foster hope for those in need.”

Williams added,  “Help is needed. We face a significant financial need to expand our mental health program to better support the growing demands in Bladen County. Due to part-time staffing, we currently have a waiting list for support services. We also require funding to hire a full-time Dream Work Program Administrator who will help implement our mental health initiatives throughout the county.”

Continuing, Williams said, “We firmly believe that when people feel well, they perform well. Wellness is essential, and we are committed to empowering wellness across Bladen County.” Dream Works assists people in meeting their professional development and physical, mental, and spiritual health goals.

Residents in need of therapy or counseling services are encouraged to contact Dream Works. They can be contacted at 1001 W. Broad Street, Elizabethtown, NC, or by phone at +1 910-635-2678. Dream Works remains committed to positively impacting the community’s mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Bladen We Care’s grant signifies a strong community partnership to address critical health needs and support local organizations dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all residents.
