North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper continues to be mentioned as a vice president possibility in the same breath as several others … The final choice will likely be the one who would be expected to be able to produce the most Democratic votes in November…

Former President Donald Trump is coming back to NC in the next few days … maybe hours … He is expected to visit the Charlotte area…

Dow Jones rebounded Monday after a not so good end of last week … Historically, July has been a strong month for the U.S. stock market. Since 1928, the S&P has averaged a gain of about 1.7% in July and has finished the month higher more than 50% of the time. The Dow Jones Industrial Average has also performed well, with an average monthly advance of 1.4%…
