Winner … Jhonattan Vegas (-17), $1,458,000 … won by a stroke over Max Greyserman … Vegas returned after several months on the sidelines due to health issues … His last victory was 7 years ago … The win makes him eligible for The Sentry, The Masters and PGA championship in 2025.

Vacation Bible School time at our place of worship yesterday … A very good service led by youngsters and adults … Very impressive … Congrats to all … Brought back memories of years ago … Great group of youth and good leadership … A good investment…

Also, time to check the beginning of a new school year at Bladen Community College … A great place to begin a college career.

Sometimes, I have too much time to think … Where would rural America be without rural electric (Four County) and telephone coop services (Star TMC)?

We live in the greatest country in the world … Sorry, but can’t help but wonder what our youth think when they read the campaign “garbage” in the press.
