Oil paintings by Bladenboro native, Patsy Hester Johnson, will be on display during the “Back to School Bash” starting at 10 AM, Saturday, August 3, 2024, at the Bladenboro Historical Society Building.
The exhibit will continue throughout August. Regular open hours for the Bladenboro Visual Arts Gallery and other museum rooms are Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 4 PM.
Mrs. Johnson is currently a resident of St. Paul’s, NC. She is a retired cosmetologist who began painting at Robeson Community College for fun. She decided that she had always wanted to paint; so, she left work one day and signed up for classes.
