The Bladen County Public Library hosted their annual Halloween Party this Thursday evening. Adults and children alike were all smiles.

Handing out all the fun was Kelsey Edwards, Library Director, dressed as a southern bell, Library Assistants, LaShannon McDonald and Susan Guyton, dressed as Thing 1 and Thing 2, and Greta Jackson, dressed as the Fair Godmother. The staff were not the only ones dressed to impress for the Halloween festivities.

Children were dressed up as super hero, witches, princess, and many other types of assorted characters. The library staff read books, Plumply, Dumply, Pumpkin by Mary Serfozo and Click, Clack, Boo! By Doreen Cronin and Betsy Lewin.

After the books were read, pumpkin crafts were made and goody bags were handed out. Even adults joined in the fun. Ann Daniels is pictured with her craft and goody bag. She said, “I have enjoyed myself. It was fun.”

LaShannon reported 69 kids and 40 adults were in attendance at the party. She also reminded everyone to come back to the Library on November 5th at 3:30 for Story Time with the Elizabethtown Police Department.
