The Bladen County Board of Commissioners announced Renee Davis as the new Bladen County Tax Administrator Monday night. When we asked Chairman of the Board, Charles Ray Peterson about the new hire, he said we try to hire within if we can.
Davis has been serving as the Bladen County Deputy Director of the Tax Administration office. According to Peterson, Davis will step into her new role on Tuesday, November 3rd.
Commissioner Cogdell referring to Davis being the new Tax Administrator said, “She is receiving a $27,000 raise over what she is currently making.”
However, even with the raise of $27,000 according to public records, Davis will still be making around $9,000 less than the former Tax Administrator was making.
