Bladen Online received an early Christmas present from its readers, and it was exactly what we wanted: a record-setting week for page views and visits. Thank you!

There were 159,367 page views for the week of Dec. 6-12, according to Google Analytics, which shattered the previous record of 146,560 set Nov. 8-14. There were 32,597 visits, which was the first time above the 30,000 mark. Fourteen stories were read more than 1,000 times. The numbers show, we believe, that people rely on Bladen Online to tell the story of Bladen County, and it’s a responsibility we take seriously.
