Santa was spotted in Bladen County this weekend, and was seen riding into town in the local parade. The Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Christmas parade at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27th. Tiina Mundy, Chamber President, said the weather was perfect and she was very pleased with the turn out.

Some of the Chamber Ambassadors and board members rode on a float this year throwing out Shop Local bags and crowns. Mundy said the Chamber’s Ambassador, Todd Lyden brought the merchandise back to the Chamber to use for the event.

Dawn Maynard, the Chamber’s Executive Director was very busy lining up the 50 or so participants for the parade and then rode in a carriage promoting the theme this season, “Shop Local”.
