The Bladen County Board of Commissioners met Monday and recognized several employees for their years of service. Following the recognitions was a reception in their honor.
Recognized were:
Dale Clewis for 15 years of service in the Computer Operations department;
Kristina Pegues of Department of Social Services for 5 years of service;
Tenecia Johnson of the Department of Social Services for 10 years;
Jill Sampson of the Department of Social Services for 10 years of service;
Janet Miller of the Department of Social Services for 15 years of service;
Andrea Singletary of the Health Department for 10 years of service;
Wendy Martin of the Register of Deeds office for 5 years of service;
Melanie Duncan of Communications-Sheriff’s Office for 5 years of service;
Penny Britt of Communications-Sheriff Office for 15 years of service;
Dianne Hatcher of the Detention Center for 15 years of service;
Capt. Jeff Bridgers with the Sheriff’s Office with 20 years of service;
Jeff Singletary with the Sheriff’s Office with 25 years of service;
Phil Corbett with the Sheriff’s Office with 25 years of service;
Not present were James Dove and James Monroe, both of the Sheriff’s Office and both with 5 years of service and Jewell Smith also of the Sheriff’s Office with 30 years of service; and Becky Culbreth with the Health Department with 20 years of service.
