A Bladen County town was featured on a travel website recently which included a listing of local attractions for folks to visit when they stop in the area. The website www.onlyinyourstate.com featured the town of Elizabethtown in it’s story “The Small North Carolina Town You’ve Never Thought About Visiting But Should.”
The website noted various attractions folks can visit and things to enjoy while making a stop in Elizabethtown. The website featured a couple of Bladen County’s businesses and locales. The article discussed such local favorites as Cape Fear Vineyard and Winery, Melvin’s Hamburgers, Tory Hole Park, Jones Lake State Park and White Lake. Each location offers many amenities for people to enjoy.
Elizabethtown has much to offer travelers from shopping to dining to a revitalized downtown. The Cape Fear Farmers Market plays host to the Summer Sounds Concert Series the second and fourth Thursdays in August featuring the Band of Oz and the Blackwater Rhythm and Blues Band closes out the summer concert series.
