DUBLIN – Accountant Lacie Jacobs has joined the staff at Bladen Community College as the college financial controller.
Jacobs, a native of Whiteville, will experience unique opportunities in the community college environment. “In the past five years, I have worked as an external auditor for publicly and privately traded companies, as well as governmental entities,” Jacobs remarked. “Working as a financial controller for a community college will be an interesting new challenge.”
Jacobs holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy, both earned from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
She has over five years of accounting experience, working as an assurance associate with Ernst & Young LLP in Raleigh and as an accountant with Thompson, Price, Scott, Adams, & Co., P.A. in Whiteville.
