This week a 1 year old mixed breed female by the name of Chocalate has been picked for Pet of the Week! She is a medium sized dog and friendly towards people. Only thing is she can’t handle the fast movement of small children. It would be best if her forever family either had a teenager or likely no children in the home. Other than that Chocalate is a friendly dog and waiting to be adopted!
The cost to adopt a dog is $50 and it’s $40 to adopt a cat, which includes the animal’s first required shots. The adoption hours are Monday to Friday from noon until 5 p.m. Donations of dog food, treats, toys, and cat litter are accepted by the shelter.
