One steadfast place to look for help in Bladen County is ready to serve as usual. Bladen Crisis Food Pantry has been distributing non-perishable food items and toiletries to those in need for years now.
However, tomorrow the non-profit will not only be assisting those in need, but will be accepting donations at a second location.
The non-profit will be open for folks in need tomorrow, Thursday, October 13th starting at 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at their office located at 208 S. Moorehead Street in Elizabethtown according to Kathy Page, a volunteer with the local non-profit.
Anyone wanting to make donations of non-perishable items or toiletries for the charity is asked to deliver the items to the Bladen County gym located in front of the food pantry in Elizabethtown, Page said.
