Bladenboro, NC – The Bladenboro Board of Commissioners will convene for their regular meeting on June 10, 2024, at 6:00 PM. The meeting will be held at the Town Hall, where key issues concerning the community will be addressed.

Agenda Highlights:

1. Opening and Invocation:
– The meeting will commence with a call to order, followed by an invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Approval of Agenda:
– The agenda for the meeting will be reviewed and approved.

3. Consent Agenda:
– Approval of the minutes from the May 13, 2024, Regular Meeting and the May 30, 2024, Special Call Meeting.
– Review of staff reports and budget amendments (26-32).

4. Public Comment:
– Opportunity for members of the public to address the board.

5. Old Business:
– No old business items are scheduled for discussion.

6. New Business:
– Public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget.
– Consideration of the FY 2024-2025 Budget Ordinance.
– Resolution to accept the APRPA Grant for wastewater regionalization.
– Resolution to accept the Asset and Inventory Assessment Grant Award.
– Discussion on the Special Warranty Deed for Town Square.

7. Town Administrator’s Report:
– Updates and reports from the Town Administrator.

8. Matters of Interest to Board Members:
– Discussion of non-voting issues of interest to board members.

9. Closed Session:
– The board will enter a closed session to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, and other conditions related to the appointment or employment of public officers or employees, as per § 143-318.11(6).

10. Adjournment:
– The meeting will conclude with an adjournment.
