A fire in Bladenboro at midday claimed the life of one man. The fire occurred at a home on Zion Hill Church Road.
The name of the victim was not released pending notification of next of kin.
Bladen County Fire Marshal Kenneth Clark said three other individuals in the home were transported to Cape Fear Valley-Bladen Healthcare where they were treated and released.
