Bladen County, NC – July 23, 2024: According to Bridget Ellison with the North Carolina Department of Transportation Bladen County Maintenance, Mercer Mill Brown Marsh Road (SR 1700) will be closed north of Harrelson Road (1711) starting Tuesday, July 23rd at 8:00 AM through Tuesday, July 30th at 5:00 PM. This closure is necessary for crossline replacement.
Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes and exercise caution when traveling in the area during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our infrastructure.
