The evening will feature legendary performances by headliners Confederate Railroad and The Kentucky Headhunters, with a special opening act by Dirty Grass Soul.
Confederate Railroad: Since their formation in 1987 in Marietta, Georgia, Confederate Railroad has become a cornerstone of the country rock genre. With their unique blend of Southern rock and country, they have produced six studio albums and over twenty Billboard Hot Country Songs chart singles. The band, led by Danny Shirley, has captivated audiences with hits like “Trashy Women” and “Queen of Memphis,” and continues to deliver powerful live performances with their current lineup.
The Kentucky Headhunters: Known for their eclectic mix of rock, blues, and country, The Kentucky Headhunters have crafted a sound that resonates with fans across generations. Their latest album, That’s A Fact, Jack, showcases their dynamic guitar riffs and heartfelt lyrics. Emerging from Edmonton, Kentucky, the band draws inspiration from classic rock legends and American blues icons. Their energetic performances and soulful music have earned them Grammy Awards and a lasting legacy in the music industry.
Dirty Grass Soul: Hailing from the musically rich foothills of Cleveland County, North Carolina, Dirty Grass Soul offers a refreshing blend of country, bluegrass, and Southern rock. Formed in 2011, the band features unique instrumentation, including fiddle, pedal steel guitar, and banjo. Their sound, reminiscent of The Charlie Daniels Band and The Marshall Tucker Band, has earned them a reputation as one of the Southeast’s premier emerging Southern Rock/Alt. Country bands. Their newest project, Soul’d Out: Live from The Don Gibson Theatre, captures their dynamic live performance and evolving artistry.
