The FEMA Cumberland County Disaster Recovery Center in Fayetteville is going to remain open one more week.  It will close Thursday, February 2nd rather than Thursday, January 26th.  Visits to the Center remain steady so we have decided to give survivors of Hurricane Matthew additional time to go to the Center where they can get their questions answered by both FEMA and SBA representatives and check on the status of their recovery applications.

The hours of the Center at the Cumberland County Dept. of Social Services, 1225 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville remain the same, Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Robeson County Disaster Recovery Center at the old K-mart, 2750 N. Roberts Avenue, Lumberton, remains open until further notice with the same operating hours.

Anyone with Hurricane Matthew damages who lives in a North Carolina disaster-declared county may visit the Centers in Fayetteville or Lumberton.  They are not just for Cumberland or Robeson County residents.

Through January 22nd, there have been 4,715 visits to the Fayetteville DRC and 7,161 visits to the Lumberton DRC. Of course some of these are repeat visits.
