Bladen County, NC – The North Carolina Cooperative Extension is inviting local residents to a workshop on fruit tree management, led by Horticulture Agent Jacob Barber. This informative event aims to help residents manage their fruit trees to produce high-quality fruit.

The workshop is scheduled for July 9, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the NC Cooperative Extension-Bladen County Center, located at 450 Smith Circle, Elizabethtown, NC 28337.

Participants will learn various aspects of fruit tree management, including:
– Considerations before attempting to grow fruit trees.
– Identifying the easiest and most challenging fruit trees to grow in local conditions.
– Basics of growing and maintaining fruit trees.
– Integrated Pest Management (IPM) tactics.
