The N.C. Department of transportation announced Tuesday that a portion of State Road 1003 (Twisted Hickory) will be closed beginning Monday, April 10 for crossline repairs south of Autry Road at Mile Point 6.28. The road is expected to reopen Friday, April 14.
Other road-related announcements for Bladen County include:
• US 701N: Both lanes of the northbound side over the Cape Fear River are closed. Traffic is being rerouted to the southbound lanes. The closure has a wide load traffic restriction.
