My appetite for meetings that last over an hour has greatly diminished, and for a long contentious meeting, an even shorter time.
Hope I live long enough for federal and state redistricting to be designated to someone other than politicians. First the Dems, years ago, and now the Republicans. Got to be a better way to do it. Bladen being in a congressional district that stretches to Mecklenburg County is as bad as Bladen in a district as far north as Warren County. Makes no sense! Using the same system, with the same type politicians, over and over again is most likely to produce the same type results, over and over again.
The Hester research department (me) discovered that shark attacks are increasing. The International Shark Attack File at the University of Florida has determined that the odds of an attack are 11.5 million to one, much more likely to die from flu, fireworks or being struck by lightning. My odds are even better, shark must crawl before it reaches me.
Survey in Arizona discovered the top concern for citizens over 50 is social security.
I have replaced CNN, FOX and MSNBC, and other such news outlets with Andy Griffith, Barney Fife, Goober, Gomer, Otis, Aunt Bea and Opie. Better actors and more believable.
