Get ready to celebrate Memorial Day in honor of those who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom as the Town of Clarkton proudly presents its Community Day Parade on Monday, May 27, 2024. Join us for a day filled with community spirit, patriotism, and honoring our nation’s heroes.

– Lineup Time: 9:30 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.
– Location: North end of US Highway 701 Business near the EJ Cox building, 9292 N. College Street, Clarkton
– Armour Bearer: Mr. Perry Marlow Grant
– Parade Marshal: Mayor Jerome Myers
– Parade Start Time: 10:30 a.m.
The Clarkton Community Day Parade promises to be a memorable event for all ages. And here’s the best part – there’s no fee for parade entries! Mayor Jerome Myers welcomes everyone, saying, “I just want people to show up.”
In a special tribute to our nation’s veterans, Mayor Myers encourages United States Military Veterans who are able to walk to join in the third element of the parade. The goal is to have at least 25 Veterans walking proudly in the parade. All Veterans are not only invited but encouraged to participate, honoring Memorial Day and paying tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
