I know, Christmas is several weeks away, but it will be here ’bout next week, or so it seems.
As a youngster on Route 2 Bladenboro, I remember when it was time to begin the search for a Christmas tree, we did not go to a retail outlet, but began to look around in nearby woods for a prospect. After the selection was made, we made the decorations following broad plans ‘laid out’ by mom. We needed paper, crayons and glue, not much more, except a spot near the window when the project was over so our friends and Santa could see our handiwork.

I had a difficult time yesterday afternoon, keeping up with NFL action, NASCAR, PGA, answering the phone, (calls from solicitors), and addressing Christmas cards. Multi-tasking at its best.
