I still get excited when I think back to December 2007 and February 2008. Ken Pervine and I were busy, making final decisions about a new source of news for Bladen County, BladenOnline.
Ken was taking care of the technical issues and I was thinking how I could sell advertising, cover news and work on circulation, all at once. It was a challenge, but so much fun.
Today, Charlotte, Daine, Erin, John, Ray, Joy and others are taking BladenOnline to new heights. I love it.

Remember a Christmas when you failed to get what you thought Santa had promised? I do, I was about mmmm….6-7 maybe 8 years old and I wanted a baseball glove. Not a need, but a want and mom and dad dealt mostly with needs.
