While many in the east slept, National League Baseball All-Stars defeated the American League, 3-2, breaking a nine game losing streak. Rockies catcher Elias Diaz homered off Orioles’ Felix Bautista in the 8th for the victory. The American League still holds a 47-44 advantage in the mid-summer classic. The game was played in Seattle, Washington.
The 2024 All-Star Game will be hosted by the Texas Rangers at Globe Field in Arlington, Texas.

Postal service across the US appears to be strugglin’, with officials raising rates and talking about limiting or ending service if certain standards are not met by the public. Complaints about rising cost of mail boxes at local offices … Stress, stress, stress.
Some big companies are apparently thinking about expansion … Concerns include available workforce, housing and in recent years … childcare is becoming more of an issue by some…

Had an embarrassing issue recently … I purchased a different vehicle … Had lunch with some friends, decided it was time to go … Thought I was standing next to my vehicle … pressed the key to unlock and nothing happened … even pressed the ‘raise trunk lid’, still nothing … 2 cars over, trunk lid was standing tall and all doors unlocked … Slipped quietly into the vehicle and drove away … hoping those nearby were not aware of what I had done … no such luck…
