The Olympics “kicked-off” last evening in what was expected to be the most ambitious opening ceremony ever attempted … Over a billion people around the world were expected to tune in … Athletes representing 200 countries were expected to make their ceremonial entrance into the Games … Hopefully, all went as planned … NBC and Peacock are expected to cover the majority of the events … The US will host the next Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028.

Should be another good weekend for the Bladen Lakes area … including Elizabethtown and White Lake … Summer is a busy time for the area … Many come to Bladen lakes for summer vacation … including the water and golf…
