Congratulations to recent area high school graduates … Do you remember that long ago? For me, I graduated in 1956, continued working at Hinson’s Super Market in Bladenboro … for a couple of years … before attending Carolina School of Broadcasting in Charlotte.
The Brunswick Community College baseball program, under the direction of Robby Allen, just completed another outstanding season … They were national runners-up in their classification … Former East Bladen Eagle Evan Pait made a significant contribution … He was the winning pitcher in a semifinal win at the World Series … The team completed play with a 51-10 record … Pait posted an 8-3 record for his freshman season … Robbie Allen continues his success at the school…
High school graduation is a day you never forget … May not remember all details … but passing the milestone is a memorable occasion.
