Sheriff James A. McVicker said his Narcotics Unit have conducted a search warrant and made other arrests this week. The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit completed an investigation into the distribution of Controlled Substances in the Graham Road area of Clarkton.
This investigation originated from citizen complaints which prompted Narcotics Agents to the area of 279 Graham Street, Clarkton, NC. Agents conducted undercover purchases from the residence in this investigation where controlled substances were being sold.
At the conclusion of this investigation, on December 6, 2018, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at 279 Graham Street, Clarkton, NC. During the search warrant, approximately one pound of marijuana, over $2,000.00 US Currency, and a handgun were seized. The defendant in this investigation was arrested and processed at the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
Arrested was Willie Carthell Graham, 40, of the same address. Graham’s bond was set at $56,000.00 based on the charges of one count of Sell Marijuana, two counts of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Marijuana, two counts of Maintaining a Dwelling for the Purpose of Keeping/Selling Controlled Substances, one count of Manufacture Marijuana, one count of Felony Possession of Marijuana, and one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
In an unrelated investigation, Narcotics Agents went to the area of 1213 Daisy Street, Elizabethtown, NC and 4509 Hwy 701 South, Clarkton, NC. Agents conducted undercover purchases from the defendant in this investigation where prescription medication was purchased.
At the conclusion of this investigation, on December 6, 2018, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office and Elizabethtown Police Department served arrest warrants on the defendant. The defendant in this investigation was arrested and processed at the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center under a $76,000.00 secured bond. Arrested was John Thurman McAllister Jr., 52, of 4509 Hwy 701 South, Clarkton. McAllister was charged with one count of Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substances, one count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substances, and one count of Driving While License Revoked.
Earlier in the week, citizen complaints prompted Narcotics Agents to the area of Fresh Foods IGA, located in Clarkton, NC. Agents conducted undercover purchases from the defendant in this investigation in the parking lot where prescription medication was purchased.
At the conclusion of this investigation, on December 3, 2018, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office served arrest warrants on the defendant. The defendant in this investigation was arrested and processed at the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center. Placed under a $50,000.00 secured bond was Elizabeth Campbell, 63, of 116 Peach Street, Clarkton. Campbell was charged with one count of Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substances and one count of Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Deliver Schedule II Controlled Substances.
“My men are out working every day to stem the sale of illegal drugs in our county,” said McVicker. “We will continue to seek out those selling drugs and preying on the innocent.”
