The Bladen County Board of Commissioners held their regular scheduled meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at the courthouse in Elizabethtown. There were 12 Bladen County employees recognized during the meeting for their years of service.

Robin Hewett with the Computer Operations department received a plaque for 10 years of service.

Romall Watson with the Division on Aging received a plaque for 15 years of service.

Greta Murphy with the Department of Social Services received a plaque for five years of service.

Yvonne Norris with the Department of Social Services received a plaque for 10 years of service.

Dena Patrick with the Department of Social Services received a plaque for 15 years of service.

Laura Strickland with the Health Department received a plaque for 20 years of service.

Kayla Parker with the Bladen County Library received a plaque for five years of service.

Agnes McCall with the Bladen County Library received a plaque for 40 years of service.

Sheriff Jim McVicker received a plaque for five years of service.

Montreal Smith with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office received a plaque for five years of service.

Charles Wilkins with the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office received a plaque for 10 years of service.

Robert Bryant received a plaque for 10 years of service to the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office in the Communications Department.

After the plaques were presented and each employee received recognition the commissioners took a brief recess for a reception.

The commissioners reconvened to address the rest of the items on the agenda.
