The anticipation is building as the 2024 White Lake Water Festival gears up to deliver a weekend packed with fun and entertainment for the whole family. Thanks to the hard work of the Water Festival Committee, along with the support of new volunteers and sponsors, this year’s event promises to be one of the best in recent memory.

As the excitement mounts, festival-goers are encouraged to visit the newly launched festival website at www.whitelakewaterfestival.org for the latest updates and announcements. With more surprises and activities still to come, the website will serve as a valuable resource for attendees eager to make the most of their festival experience.

The festivities kick off on Friday evening with a flurry of activities. At 5:00 PM, voting begins for the finalists of the Student Logo Competition, with entries on display at the Wake Shop. Meanwhile, car enthusiasts can head to Goldston’s for a Cruise-in from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, while thrill-seekers can embark on a Scavenger Hunt starting at 6:00 PM. The evening culminates with live music at Goldston’s from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM, featuring the infectious rhythms of Jim Quick and the Coastline Band.

Saturday promises a full day of excitement, starting with the Water Festival Car Show at Lake Church from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The highlight of the day is the lively parade at 10:00 AM, followed by a bustling marketplace and food truck extravaganza at Goldston’s Beach parking lot from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Sports enthusiasts can look forward to the Beach Volleyball and Cornhole Tournaments at Camp Clearwater, while families can get creative at the Sandcastle Contest. Live local talent will grace the main stage at Camp Clearwater throughout the afternoon, and fashion enthusiasts won’t want to miss the Fashion Show featuring the latest collections from Resort Collections, Wake Shop, Amy by the Lake, and Barefoot Boujee Boutique. The evening concludes with another round of live music at Goldston’s Beach, courtesy of the electrifying Cat5 Band, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

On Sunday, the festival winds down with more activities for all ages. Attendees can catch one last wakeboard demonstration by Kara Austin and company, witness the thrilling finals of the Volleyball and Cornhole Tournaments, and join in the fun at the Wiffle Ball Tournament. The Scavenger Hunt winner and Student Logo Competition winner will be announced, bringing the festival to a celebratory close.
