Here are three things to know for Friday, October 13:

1. High School Football: Today. Both Bladen County varsity teams will play at home. West Bladen (2-5, 0-2 SAC) will host St. Pauls (4-3, 2-0 SAC) at 7 p.m. in a Southeastern Athletic Conference game. East Bladen (5-3, 4-0 Waccamaw) will play West Columbus (6-1, 3-0 Waccamaw) in a game for first place at 7:30 p.m.

2. Scottish Heritage Day: Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Moores Creek National Battlefield, 40 Patriots Hall Drive, Currie. Connections between book series “Outlander” and actual events that took place on Feb. 27, 1776. Guided tour, guest speakers, music. Information: Jason Collins at 91-283-5591, Ext. 2222.

3. North Carolina Grape Festival: Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Lu Mil Vineyard. Free admission. Music, wine tasting, food, vendors. Family friendly event. Information: lumilvineyard.com
