Here are three things to know for Sunday, Aug. 15:

1. Photo Exhibit: Today, 2-4 p.m., Bladenboro Historical Society Building. Exhibits features the works of Terry Wayne Young. Exhibit will be open weekends 2-4 p.m. through the last weekend in October. Young will be at the exhibit today. (READ MORE)

2. Bladen County Board of Elections meeting: Tuesday, 7 p.m., BOE office, 301 S. Cypress Street, Elizabethtown. Purpose is to elect poll workers for November’s municipal elections.

3. Today’s weather: Partly sunny with a chance of thunderstorms and a high near 90. Tonight, a slight chance of t-storms with a low around 73.
