1. Bladen County Shrine Club Fish Fry is Wednesday in the Food Lion parking lot in Elizabethtown.
2. Government meetings Monday have Bladen County commissioners at 4 p.m. to discuss the budget and at 6:30 p.m. for its regular meeting in the Superior Courtroom on the second floor of the Courthouse in Elizabethtown and the Elizabethtown Town Council at 7 p.m. at Town Hall.
3. Bladen County Recreation Department Dixie Boys baseball and girls softball registration continues through May 14. $35 registration fee. Age determined as of Jan 1, 2021. Baseball is for ages 13-14 and softball ages 11-12 and 13-16. Online registration located at bladeninfo.org under the Parks and Recreation Department. Online Registration is preferred.
