1. Baccalaureate Service for high school seniors is scheduled Sunday at 6 p.m. at Lenon Fisher Stadium, East Bladen High School. It’s sponsored by the parents of the senior class of 2021. (There is a parade scheduled prior to the Baccalaureate Service at 5 p.m. in downtown Elizabethtown. The public is encouraged to attend the parade.)
2. Stuffed Animals Drive through June 11. Bladen County Public Library seeking donations of new stuffed animals to be gifted to local nursing homes. Donations can be dropped off at any branch during normal business hours.
