Here are three things to know for Thursday:
1. Cornhole Tournament: Saturday, 11 a.m., West Bladen High School, 1600 NC 410, Bladenboro. Registration begins 10 a.m. day of the event. $20 per player. Proceeds benefit West Bladen Boosters Club. Information: Joseph Russ at 910-872-1661.
2. Mother County Genealogical Society Meeting: Saturday, 12:30 p.m., Bladenboro Historical Society Building, 818 South Main Street. Program will be an exchange of family stories.
3. Grinch Christmas Party: Monday, 6 p.m., Bridger Memorial Library, Bladenboro. Pre-registration required by contacting kwilson@bladenco.org or 910-863-4586. This is a children’s Christmas party.
