Here are three things to know for Tuesday, Feb. 27:
1. High School Basketball Playoffs: Today. Three Bladen County teams open the state playoffs. West Bladen boys host Eastern Wayne at 7 p.m. inside Ken F. Cross Gymnasium. East Bladen girls are home against North Edgecombe at 6 p.m. on Patty Evers Court. East Bladen boys are in the Outer Banks to play at Ocracoke at 6 p.m. (READ MORE)
2. Middle School Basketball Tournament: Today, Bladenboro Middle School. Girls semifinals have Tar Heel vs. Clarkton at 4 p.m. and Elizabethtown vs. Bladenboro at 6 p.m. Boys semifinals have Tar Heel vs. Clarkton at 5 p.m. and Elizabethtown vs. Bladenboro at 7 p.m. Championship games are Thursday.
