Here are three things to know for Tuesday, June 22:
1. Weather permitting, the East Bladen baseball team will host Randleman at 7 p.m. today for the NCHSAA 2-A Eastern championship. The winner advances to the best-of-three state championship, which is scheduled to begin Friday in either Fayetteville or Burlington.
2. Games with Dads and anybody else: Clarkton Public Library. Today’s event postponed because of the threat of inclement weather and moved to Tuesday, June 29, 5:30-7 p.m. Open to all ages. The event is free and will be held outside. There will be refreshments.
3. East Bladen athletics reverse raffle: Thursday. Booster Club selling $100 tickets. Two steak dinners included with the ticket. Take out will begin at 5 p.m. with dine in at 6 p.m.
