2. It will soon be festival time in Bladen County. You might want to put these dates on your calendar. The Bladenboro Historical Society’s annual Fun Day is set for Saturday, Sept. 10. The Dublin Peanut Festival is the following Saturday on Sept. 17. It’s guaranteed fun for all.
3. The general election is always the Tuesday following the first Monday in November. So, this year it’s Nov. 8. Or, only 91 days remaining to be repeatedly told that electing a certain candidate will be the worst thing that could happen to the United States.
