Here are three things to know for Wednesday, July 5:
1. Yard Sale: Friday-Saturday, 7 a.m., Bladen Baptist Association, 137 Mercer Mill Road, Elizabethtown. Proceeds will help offset costs for work to be done on summer mission trip to West Virginia.
2. Learn to Crochet 2.0: Tuesday, 6-8 p.m., Bladen Community College. How to create new stitches, add borders, read a patter. Cost $25. Class also July 18. Click here to register.
3. Bridger Memorial Library Open House: July 13, 4-6 p.m., 313 South Main Street, Bladenboro. Tour the updated facility and enjoy a free cup of ice cream.
