Here are three things to know for Wednesday, Jan. 31:

1: High School Basketball: Today, 4:30 p.m. East Bladen hosts West Columbus in a Waccamaw Conference tripleheader. Junior varsity boys play first followed by the varsity girls about 6 p.m. and varsity boys about 7:30 p.m.

2. Story Time: Thursday, 10 a.m., Bladen County Public Library, 111 N. Cypress St., Elizabethtown. Information: 910-862-6990.

3. Elizabethtown DYB Steak Dinner/Reverse Raffle: Friday, 4-7 p.m., Elizabethtown Primary School. Tickets: $15 per plate for steak dinner, $50 for raffle which includes two steak dinners. Drawing is for $2,000, $1,000 and $500. Contact Elizabethtown DYB official for tickets.
