1. Middle School Basketball: Today, 4 p.m. Bladen County teams meet with Elizabethtown at Clarkton and Tar Heel at Bladenboro. Girls games first followed by boys games.
2. Tax Return Assistance: Friday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Bladen County Public Library, 111 N. Cypress Street, Elizabethtown. Help for people with low/moderate incomes, disabilities, elders or military. Must pre-register by calling Margaret at 910-739-4244, Ext. 308.
