White Lake, NC – The 46th Annual White Lake Water Festival has successfully concluded, leaving attendees and organizers thrilled with the turnout and events. From May 17 through May 19, the festival attracted crowds from across the state, all eager to participate in a variety of activities that celebrated the community and the spirit of White Lake.

This year, the festival was honored to have the 3rd Special Group from Ft Liberty as the Grand Marshals for the annual parade, highlighting the close ties between the community and the military. Their presence added a special note of gratitude and respect to the festivities.

One of the highlights this year was the performance by the Carolina Show Ski Teamwhich was met with great applause. Their spectacular water ski show from Goldston’s Beach to Camp Clearwater was a visual treat and showcased the incredible talent and hard work of the team.

Event Highlights:

– Golf Tournament Success: The festival kicked off with the 8th Annual Elizabethtown Rotary Club Scholarship Tournament at Vineyard Golf at White Lake, where the Melton’s team emerged victorious in the first flight.

– Cultural and Recreational Activities: The Car Show Cruise-in, the Scavenger Hunt, and a variety of competitions like the Family Sand Castle Contest provided fun and engagement for all ages.

– Musical Entertainment: Live performances from Jim Quick and the Coastline Band, followed by the Cat5 Band, brought everyone together for evenings filled with music and dance.

– Community Participation: There was no shortage of community spirit and involvement from craft vendors at Goldston’s Beach to the Wiffle Ball Tournament on the final day.

“Each year, the White Lake Water Festival aims to bring our community and visitors together to enjoy the beauty and fun of White Lake,” said a festival organizer. “This year was no exception, and we are overwhelmed by the support and enthusiasm everyone showed.”

The festival also included a BBQ meal hosted by the White Lake Fire Department, and various vendors provided delicious food and unique crafts, adding to the festive atmosphere.

As the festival concluded on Sunday, the winners of the Scavenger Hunt and the Student Logo Competition were announced, celebrating the attendees’ creativity and participation.

The White Lake Water Festival continues to be a key event in promoting local tourism and community spirit in White Lake. Organizers thank all participants, volunteers, and sponsors who made this year’s event a memorable one.
