One Stop voting is under way in Bladen County for the May 8 primary. As of 3 p.m. on Wednesday, more than 659 ballots had been cast in Bladen County.

One Stop voting is taking place in four locations in the county. They are The Bladen County Public Library, the Dublin Lions Club building, the East Arcadia Town Hall and the Bladenboro Historical Society building.  

In Elizabethtown, the One Stop voting schedule at the Bladen County Public Library located at 111 S. Cypress Street is Thursday, April 19, and Friday, April 20, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.; Monday, April 23, through Friday, April 27, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.Monday, April 30, through Friday, May 4, from 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m.; and Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The three remaining One Stop locations will operate on the following schedule: Thursday, April 19, and Friday, April 20, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.; Monday, April 23, through Friday, April 27, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m.; Monday, April 30, through Friday, May 4, from 1 p.m. until 7 p.m.; and Saturday, May 5, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The One Stop sites will not be open on Sundays. Voters may cast their ballots at any of the four One Stop voting locations. 

Voters who are not already registered to vote, can register to vote at a One Stop location and cast your ballot on the same day. Voters may also make changes to their name or address if it needs to be updated.
