A bright, sunny sky greeted visitors to the Kelly Spring Festival on Saturday morning. The morning began with a parade which included political candidates, beauty queens, motorcycles, fire trucks and beautifully decorated floats.

The highlight of the day was a performance by the North Tower Band of Raleigh. The North Tower Band sang such hit songs as Brown-eyed Girl and Mustang Sally.

A 50-50 raffle was held and there were also other prizes including a Yeti cooler, a Kelly Spring Festival T-shirt and two Thirty-one brand bags. Vendors for the day included jewelry, herbal teas, handmade dream catchers, and food.

Everyone enjoyed the warm afternoon listening to the band and renewing old friendships and creating new friendships.
