The North Carolina Department of Transportation has issued an updated listing of road openings and closings in Bladen County. There were no openings listed.
CLOSINGS:
Center Road
Center Road is closed with a posted detour in both directions. Road is closed for bridge construction and miscellaneous roadway work. It is expected to open July 31, 2018.
UPCOMING CLOSINGS:
Peanut Plant Road
Peanut Plant Road will close on Monday July 30, at 8:00 and will open August 3 at 5pm. This will be closed for crossline repair. It will be opened on the weekends for local traffic.
Chicken Foot Road
Chicken Foot Road will close on Monday, July 30 at 8:00 am and will open August 3 at 5:00 pm. This is closed for crossline repair.
ELWELL FERRY:
The Elwell Ferry is closed due to high water.
